Classic Venetian chandeliers in Murano glass

The Venetian classics are the chandeliers of the great Murano tradition: arms, curls, leaves, flowers and rosettes in glass, hot-blown and shaped in the flame, each element with a name and a technique codified over the centuries. Crystal, amber, pink or blue, with gilded, chrome or brass finishes.

From 1 to 95 lights, on one or more tiers: these are the chandeliers that light hotels, period residences, embassies and event halls the world over. Every chandelier is made to measure in our furnace in Venice, on a chain or mounted directly to the ceiling. In this collection: Murano glass chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, ceiling lights, table lamps, floor lamps, Venetian lanterns and Venetian mirrors made to measure.

The craft

Every ornament has a name

Curls, leaves, flowers, pastorals: every element of the classic Venetian chandelier is hot-blown and shaped in the flame by the master glassmaker, one at a time, as it has been done in Murano for centuries.

The curl

The glowing glass is pulled and wound onto itself: the spiral takes shape in a few seconds, by hand.

Pressed and scored with the tongs, one at a time: no two leaves are alike.

Petals shaped one by one and joined while hot: the most recognisable detail of the Venetian classics.
