— IN DEPTH

The Dandolo model was made and customised to the client's requests, partly reworking its structure and reducing its dimensions to suit the proportions of this historic apartment in central Genoa. The Rezzonico chandelier was invented in the 1700s by an enterprising Venetian, Giuseppe Briati, who turned it into a timeless style. Its craft lies in shaping hundreds of tiny blown-glass elements, then fitting them together to form the great arms. The glass-paste decorations and colours lend the whole its preciousness, creating a timeless work.
