— IN DEPTH

In Monte Carlo, a private residence with white-marble interiors and serial spaces — doors, thresholds and frames that recede in perspective. The chandeliers were created to converse with this geometry: a "banded" form obtained by interweaving hot-curved crystal glass, a sequence of ribbons wrapping around the light source.

Each chandelier is made one by one and calibrated to the proportions of the room that holds it. The client guided the choice of the number of bands, the overall diameter and the finish of the structure.
