— IN DEPTH

The Murano Hallandale restaurant, in the Miami metropolitan area, called for a lighting solution able to hold together the Italian identity of the project and the scenographic scale of a high-hospitality setting. The client, led by Santo Passaia, has worked for generations in fine Italian furnishing and defined a design vision built on the dialogue between furniture, finishes and light.

The chandeliers in Venetian blown glass were designed specifically for the restaurant's rooms, calibrated in their proportions and tones to integrate with the custom interior finishes. Here the glass works as a narrative element, defining the convivial areas and giving the space a character at once contemporary and rooted in the lagoon tradition.
